On October 11, 2025, Prospects College of Higher Education proudly hosted Girls on Track at the Nawam Mawatha car park, an inspiring event dedicated to empowering young women and encouraging female leadership.
A day prior to the event, Ms. Shehara De Silva, Group Managing Director of McLarens Sri Lanka, conducted an insightful and motivational briefing session for the participants. Her powerful words inspired confidence and reminded every young woman to embrace challenges with courage and determination.
The main event featured a thrilling karting slalom, where girls from various schools competed with enthusiasm and teamwork. The energy was contagious, filled with cheers, laughter, and a strong sense of empowerment as participants supported one another both on and off the track.
It was a truly successful event that celebrated the spirit of women in leadership and left everyone feeling inspired, energized, and proud to be part of a movement driving change.
