On October 27, 2025, the Student Council of Prospects College of Higher Education organized a heartwarming Paduru Party at a local elders’ home, bringing together over 120 elders for an unforgettable afternoon of music, laughter, and togetherness.
The event featured a live band performing beloved Sinhala classics from the 1970s, filling the air with nostalgia and joy. As familiar tunes echoed through the hall, smiles lit up faces and happy memories came rushing back. Some of the elders even came forward to dance, their energy and spirit creating truly touching moments that everyone will cherish.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth and laughter, as students and elders connected through stories, songs, and shared joy. It was more than just an event, it was a celebration of love, respect, and community, reminding everyone of the beauty of giving back and sharing happiness across generations.
