The PCHE Psychology Day took place on March 20, 2025, at the Lighthouse Auditorium and Lawns, bringing together experts and students for insightful discussions on psychology and its diverse applications.
The event featured thought-provoking sessions led by distinguished speakers and an interactive workshop conducted by the Psychology Club, fostering engagement and practical learning.
We were honored to have Ms. Charthri Wijenayake, Manager – Partnerships, Deakin International (Sri Lanka Country Office), as the Chief Guest.
The event covered key areas of psychology through expert-led sessions.
Dr. Meaghan Danby, Senior Lecturer at Deakin University, conducted a session on Forensic Psychology online, providing valuable insights into the field.
Ms. Yasaara Kaluaratchi, Director of Academics & Senior Lecturer at PCHE, and Ms. Binuri Dharmasena, Lecturer & Health and Wellbeing Counselor at PCHE, explored the domain of Organizational Psychology, highlighting workplace dynamics and mental well-being.
Ms. Anthe Ickx, Clinical Psychologist, and Ms. Binu Salgadu, Lecturer at PCHE, led a session on Child Psychology, focusing on developmental and behavioral aspects.
The event was a great success.
