Vesak 2025 Shines Bright at Prospects College of Higher Education
Colombo, May 14, 2025 – The spirit of Vesak illuminated Prospects College of Higher Education as students and staff came together for a heartfelt celebration marking the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Lord Buddha.
The event began with an informative student-led presentation, offering deep insights into the significance of Vesak and the life and teachings of the Buddha. It was an inspiring and educational start that encouraged reflection and understanding among all those present.
This was followed by a soul-stirring Bakthi Gee session, where students and staff sang devotional songs in unison, filling the space with a peaceful and reverent atmosphere.
The highlight of the celebration was a special performance set to a Vesak-themed song, beautifully choreographed and delivered by the students. The performance captured the essence of the occasion, combining music, movement, and meaning in a memorable way.
Together, the day’s activities brought a sense of harmony, compassion, and cultural pride to the PCHE community, making Vesak 2025 a truly meaningful celebration.
