The college celebrated two significant Buddhist festivals; Vesak and Poson. The Vesak festivities featured a Bakthi Gee sing-along session and a captivating pooja dance, allowing students to engage deeply with the spiritual essence of the festival. A presentation on the importance and significance of Vesak highlighted its celebration of the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and death, enriching the students’ understanding of this sacred occasion.
Following Vesak, the college organised a Dansala for Poson, where students and staff contributed to serving drinks to the community. Both festivals emphasized the college’s commitment to cultural traditions and community involvement, making them memorable occasions that strengthened the bond between students and staff while celebrating Buddhist values.
