We are ranked number one in Australia (Academic Ranking of World Universities, 2021) and 13th in the world (QS World Ranking of Universities by subject 2022) and our passion is for wanting to have impact, to make a positive difference in the lives of others, through education and through counselling and psychology. We share this passion with our vibrant alumni community, with research partners as well as with stakeholders in the professions and society more generally.
One of the ways we make a positive impact is nurturing the next generation of educators through a range of accredited teacher education programs. We are pleased to partner with Prospects College of Higher Education in Sri Lanka to offer students a pathway to study our Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Childhood and Primary Education. This degree is accredited by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). Graduates will be able to teach infants and children from birth to 12 years of age in childcare, kindergartens, preschools and primary schools.

Murdoch University is very pleased to announce its articulation arrangement with Prospects Academy. Under this articulation, graduates of Prospects Academy’s Diploma of Business will receive 24 credit points of advanced standing which is equivalent to the first year of Murdoch University’s Bachelor of Business. Thus Diploma of Business graduates are able to transfer directly to the second year of Murdoch University’s Bachelor of Business, saving both time and money.
