This launch represents a major step forward in Sri Lanka’s higher education landscape. Through the partnership between PCHE and Charles Sturt University, Charles Sturt Colombo has been established as the third international university in Sri Lanka, offering students the opportunity to complete their degrees locally while receiving a globally recognised Australian qualification. This initiative allows students to achieve world-class education while saving significantly on overseas living and study costs.
At its inception, Charles Sturt University Colombo enables students to complete Bachelor’s degree programs in Early Childhood Education and Business entirely in Sri Lanka. Notably, this marks the first time an Australian Early Childhood Education degree completion program has been made available within the country, an important milestone for both the education sector and aspiring educators.
