From June 19-21, 2026, Prospects College of Higher Education was proud to serve as the Main Gold Sponsor of the Annual Shanthi Peiris Memorial Debating Championship 2026, held at Methodist College, Colombo.
The three-day championship brought together over 150 students from schools across Sri Lanka, creating an inspiring platform for young minds to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives and develop their public speaking abilities. Throughout the competition, participants demonstrated confidence, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership while engaging in thought-provoking debates.
As a strong advocate for education and youth development, PCHE is honoured to support initiatives that encourage students to think independently, communicate effectively, and build skills that extend far beyond the classroom. The championship reflected the passion, dedication and talent of Sri Lanka’s next generation of leaders.
