On July 6, 2026, Prospects College of Higher Education hosted an insightful workshop on “Motivation and Engagement in the Workplace” featuring Dr. Sherrica Senewiratne, an organizational psychologist from Deakin University.
The session explored the importance of understanding people, workplace motivation and the factors that influence employee engagement and performance. Dr. Sherrica shared valuable insights into how different forms of motivation shape behaviour and how creating a positive work environment can help individuals and teams thrive.
To make the session more interactive and engaging, students participated in a variety of group activities and discussions that encouraged them to reflect, share ideas and better understand workplace dynamics. These activities helped bring psychological concepts to life while allowing students to connect theory with real-world situations.
