Students who successfully completed the Diploma in Early Childhood Education awarded by Prospects College of Higher Education (PCHE) transferred to Deakin University Melbourne, Australia recently. They received 8 credits, and directly transferred to the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, as well as the Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education awarded by Deakin University. All the students received 25% scholarships. The students also participated in a pre-departure briefing and a farewell event jointly organized by the Deakin University Sri Lanka office and PCHE which was held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel.

The pathway is a joint collaboration between PCHE and the Faculty of Arts and Education, at Deakin University. Faculty colleagues at the School of Education are welcoming the students to Deakin via an informal lunch upon their arrival on campus.
